Privacy note

This is a simple summary of how CfE Maths Hub handles privacy. The site keeps tracking educational and support-focused, and avoids collecting unnecessary personal data.

Cookies & analytics

Privacy-conscious analytics

CfE Maths Hub uses Vercel Web Analytics to understand anonymous page usage and improve useful pages. This is used for aggregate page analytics, not advertising profiles.

Essential sign-in, account, local progress, Learning Support setting and payment-session features may use secure browser storage or cookies where needed for the site to work. Payment details are handled by Stripe rather than stored directly by CfE Maths Hub.

For school-facing privacy information, read Privacy & School Safety.

Current data use

  • CfE Maths Hub uses Vercel Web Analytics to understand anonymous page usage and improve useful pages.
  • Accounts use secure sign-in. No pupil accounts are created unless a user chooses to create or join one.
  • Signed-in accounts can save supported practice attempts to Supabase, including course, topic, score, stars, missed question types where available and suggested next steps.
  • Some progress remains local-only on the user's own device/browser, especially local progress and activity types not connected to account progress.
  • Teachers can only see pupil progress through a safe class relationship where class tools are used.
  • There are no public pupil profiles, social feeds or advertising profiles.
  • Advanced Learning Support preferences may save to the signed-in account for Premium Teacher/admin access; local settings can still be stored in the browser.
  • Diagnostics are gated to supported access routes. Screeners are support indicators, not diagnoses, and should be used alongside teacher judgement and classroom evidence.
  • Users should not send personal pupil information by email.
