Plain-English terms for using CfE Maths Hub as a pupil, parent or carer, tutor, teacher or school.
These terms are intended to be practical and clear. They should be read alongside the Privacy and Privacy & School Safety pages.
CfE Maths Hub is an independent Scottish maths learning platform for pupil practice, teacher resources, diagnostics, learning support and classroom tools. It is not an official SQA, Education Scotland, local authority or school product.
You may use the site for personal learning, family support, tutoring, teaching and school-related maths practice. Please use content responsibly and do not attempt to disrupt the platform or misuse protected areas.
Some features work without an account. Accounts may be used for saved progress, teacher access, class tools, assignments, diagnostics and support settings. You are responsible for keeping sign-in details secure.
Teachers remain responsible for deciding how CfE Maths Hub is used with pupils. Class tools are intended to support learning, homework, follow-up practice and evidence gathering within appropriate school processes.
Premium Teacher access may be offered through paid subscription. Payment processing is handled by Stripe. Payment card details are not stored directly by CfE Maths Hub.
Subscription management and cancellation routes may be provided through account or Stripe portal links where available. If you need help with access or billing, contact CfE Maths Hub by email.
Do not share inappropriate content, attempt to access another user's account, interfere with class tools, scrape protected areas, or use the platform in a way that could harm pupils, teachers or the service.
CfE Maths Hub aims to provide useful Scottish maths practice and teacher support, but it does not replace teacher judgement, professional assessment, classroom observation or school decision-making.
Dyslexia and dyscalculia screeners are support indicators only. They are not diagnoses, medical assessments or clinical assessments. Results should be interpreted alongside wider evidence and professional advice where appropriate.
The platform is actively developed and may change over time. CfE Maths Hub aims to keep useful services available, but access may occasionally be interrupted for maintenance, updates or technical issues.
Pupil data and privacy
Account, progress, class and learning support information should be handled carefully. Teachers and schools should also follow their own local policies for digital tools and pupil data.
